Dave Clegg and Friends
Scarborough Jazz Club invites you to the first appearance at the club of an established eight-piece band led by local pianist and arranger Dave Clegg.
The band plays Dave’s arrangements of classic big band tunes from the repertoire of Buddy Rich, Count Basie and others as well as modern jazz standards by the likes of Cannonball Adderley. Each set also features the sublime vocals of Rich Adams.
The full line-up is John Mallinder (alto sax), Ralph Alder (tenor sax), Nigel Blenkiron (trumpet), Tony Turner (trombone), with Dave Clegg (piano), Bob Walker (bass) and Dave Pinkney (drums).
