Pat McCarthy Quartet featuring Shannon Reilly
Shannon grew up listening to Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Doris Day and Peggy Lee and her singing brings out the essence of each song in spellbinding performances.
Quartet leader guitarist Pat McCarthy has played with many of the UK’s top musicians as well as leading his own quartet for several years and was described by Humphrey Lyttleton as ‘world class’.
The two other members of this drummerless quartet are Thom Whitworth, a sensitive, imaginative trumpet player with influences of Miles Davis and Cuban jazz, and bassist Warren Jolly, session player and side man with some of the best known names in jazz and pop. In all, a quartet that works beautifully together.
