AC3 + support
Note: music starts at 8pm
In a change from the advertised programme Scarborough Jazz Club welcomes back AC3, a trio known for their foot-tapping grooves and engaging melodic riffs.
Their material draws on the trio’s shared love of jazz, blues, funk, gospel and township, with each player bringing their own influences. Most of their songs start with a tune Adam brings which they then develop as a trio with each member seeming to know exactly what they need to play to complete the composition.
With Adam Carpenter on piano are Rowan Oliver on bass and Tom Townsend on drums.
Tonight the NJG support slot is filled with Cheese, the band led by Sam Wrigley.
Doors 7.45. Music 8.00. Minimum donation £5
