Julia Wray + MG4
We welcome back multi-talented Scarborough based saxophonist Julia Wray. Julia contributes to Scarborough’s vibrant creative scene both as a widely respected jazz musician with more than twenty years’ playing experience as a soloist and band leader in the UK and internationally, and as a costume and set designer for productions at the Stephen Joseph Theatre.
Tonight there is an opportunity to hear Julia stretch out on her choice of jazz numbers, including familiar songs and classic 1970s instrumentals by the likes of Grover Washington Jr and Spyro Gyra.
With the added percussion of the MG4 there is likely to be a Latin groove too.
Doors 7.45. Music 8.15. Minimum donation £5.
